Nordic Pickup. New cars in Denmark are taxed 108% of the purchase price. Cars in Sweden face similar penalties, so few people own pickup trucks. The smart alternative is the light-weight trailer, easily towed by car and left at home when not needed. Some are ope; some have hinged, fiberglass covers.
